In his early career Jim was fortunate to work in a large corporation that valued talent and rewarded it with world class training in financial analysis, sales, leadership, recruiting, strategic planning, and operational excellence. Jim leveraged these skills to build and lead high performing teams that

Jim has held positions in marketing, product development, strategic planning, sales, finance, and IT. He has experience with start-ups, the Fortune 50, and most everything in between. He has worked in service industries, durable and non-durable goods distribution, and financial services. The common thread in all his roles has been his ability to inspire and coach teams to achieve new levels of success. So when he discovered ActionCoach he saw it as the perfect opportunity to leverage his skills and experiences to help northern New England’s growing entrepreneurs.

Jim has an MBA from the University of Chicago, an undergraduate degree from Grinnell College, and numerous academic and professional honors. After living throughout the country he is pleased to be in Yarmouth with his wife and two children. When he isn’t coaching business owners his passions include coaching soccer, cooking, fly fishing, paddling, and other outdoor pursuits. He has a strong competitive spirit and strives to achieve the best in himself and others in everything he does.
